Kellie Rossiter: Founder – Speech Pathologist
Meet Kellie Rossiter, a late-diagnosed AudHD’er (Autistic and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder), Kellie passionately wishes she had known earlier what she knows now and is committed to empowering those around her with knowledge and tools in how to navigate this Neuro Typical society. Kellie focuses on all aspects of communication, from verbal expression and understanding to written language non verbal language and everything in between. Heck sometimes its even email writing and returning phone calls Something she knows the struggle of too well.
With over 15 years of experience running the Gold Coast Youth Theatre Academy, Kellie has cultivated a lifelong love for helping people communicate effectively. While she works with individuals of all ages, her primary focus is now on adolescents and adults. Collaborating with her fantastic therapy assistant, Amy, Kellie designs enriching individually tailored programs for the younger ones.
Despite finding homework challenging in her own past, Kellie has developed a special interest in report writing. She’s more than happy to provide assessments for clients of all ages, ensuring a comprehensive report to guide the way forward.
Kellie thrives on enhancing communication in various settings, whether it’s academic, interpersonal relationships, or connections with friends and colleagues. She designs her sessions to meet the unique needs and desires of her clients, allowing them to work on improving social and community participation in a way that resonates most with them.

Meet Amy – a valuable addition to the UMAH family. Kellie was so impressed with Amy’s exceptional skills and rapport with children that she couldn’t resist bringing her back to hers and our home state all the way from Melbourne.
Amy’s passion for children’s well-being is backed by over a decade of experience in children’s services, holding a diploma and showcasing unwavering dedication, especially in supporting families with children who may be Autistic, developmentally delayed or have speech and language difficulties.
Amy’s dedication extends beyond traditional settings; she strongly believes in providing support wherever children need it – be it in the classroom, during extracurricular activities, or at home. Her genuine and effective approach arises from a natural ability to connect with children, rooted in her kind and caring heart.
Amy’s goal is to create an environment where children not only receive essential support but also thrive under her nurturing guidance. Amy is not just a part of the family; she’s here to build independence and abilities in children as a dedicated therapy assistant.
